Plan small edits on your managed website

Use your managed edit allowance for small, clear content changes that keep the site accurate. Group related updates, provide the final information and explain what matters most. An allowance is a defined amount of editing time, not an unlimited redesign or a promise that every request will fit.

Before you start

  • Your current plan or existing customer agreement, rather than an assumed new-customer allowance.
  • The page addresses and final replacement words, prices or images.
  • A priority order and any date when the content must change.

What to do

  1. Start with information customers rely on

Prioritise incorrect hours, prices, service details or contact information. Review seasonal material before it becomes stale. A short accurate update usually helps more than repeatedly changing decorative details while important business facts remain out of date.

  2. Submit a clear batch of changes

For each page, identify the current content and its approved replacement. Label images and confirm permission to use them. Combine related requests where practical, but do not delay reporting a genuinely broken contact route just to assemble a larger batch.

  3. Understand the allowance and limits

Refresh includes monthly website edits for up to three pages. Rebuild includes weekly website edits for up to five pages. Both include unlimited revisions before launch. After launch, included edits cover content changes within the agreed pages; new pages and functionality are agreed separately. Existing customers keep their agreed terms, so check your own agreement before relying on the current catalogue.

  4. Separate larger improvements

A new section, new page, booking system or change of design direction may need additional scope. Send a short description first. We explain whether it fits the allowance or needs separately priced work; extra charges require agreement rather than appearing unexpectedly on your bill.

What to check

  • The request includes approved content and precise page references.
  • Time-sensitive changes have a requested date, without assuming emergency availability.
  • Any work outside the agreement has been discussed before it is undertaken.
