Invite a collaborator to your Wix website
Wix lets you invite collaborators with their own sign-ins and selected permissions. That means a one-off website edit can be carried out without sharing your owner password or transferring the site. Start with the purchased task, then choose the permission set that allows that work and no more than necessary.
Before you start
- Sign into the Wix account that controls the correct business website.
- Have your order reference, page links and approved changes ready.
- Confirm whether the work involves page design, content or an existing Wix app.
What to do
Open the correct website’s permissions
Wix documents collaborator invitations in Roles & Permissions within the site dashboard. Check the site name and public address before proceeding, especially if your account includes old drafts or several businesses. Do not transfer ownership to enable an ordinary edit.
Review the proposed role
Read the permissions included in each role. A website-design role may suit visual changes, while app-related work can need different permissions. Do not assume that a similar-sounding role covers the task or that full administrator access is always necessary.
Invite the named collaborator
Invite info@presgro.com using the agreed role and tell PresGro which website it concerns in your brief. Keep account passwords and recovery codes out of messages. If a contributor limit prevents the invitation, ask before changing your paid Wix plan.
Check the invitation and finish cleanly
Review its status in Wix and confirm that the required editing area is accessible. A sent invitation is not proof it was accepted. Once the one-off change is approved, remove temporary collaborator access and retain the final change summary.
What to check
- The collaborator has access to this site only with the agreed permissions.
- Your own sign-in, domain and subscription billing remain unchanged.
- A missed invitation is checked in the dashboard rather than solved by sharing your password.
