Booking setup: connecting an existing tool
This service connects a booking tool you already use to one existing website page. The booking provider continues to control availability, appointments and its own charges. A supported link may be the better choice where an embed cannot work reliably.
What to prepare
- Provide the approved booking URL or provider-issued embed.
- Confirm your existing booking subscription allows the intended use.
- Name the page, action label and booking account or location visitors should reach.
Delivery and review
Check the destination first
Open the supplied public booking destination and confirm it belongs to the right business, service or branch. An old personal calendar link can look plausible while sending appointments somewhere else. Do not provide your account password in the project brief.
Choose a supported connection
An embedded calendar relies on the website platform and the booking provider permitting it. Explain any cookie or consent behaviour already required by your configuration. If those dependencies prevent a suitable embed, consider the supported button route before expecting custom integration work.
Review without booking accidentally
Check that the route opens and displays sensibly on phone and desktop. Real bookings, payments and automated messages require separate permission for testing. The handover should distinguish a destination/layout check from a completed end-to-end reservation.
What to check
- The destination is the intended active booking account.
- The link or embed works within the agreed existing page.
- Provider subscriptions and booking administration remain understood and separate.
